The tobacco industry has been in development for more than 100 years.At present,the industry's benefit growth is hindered in our country.The next step of the industry's development must start with the improvement of the quality of its own production and operation.When the filter rod tray is launched by the transmitter,a small amount of residual filter rods was attached to the wall of the empty tray.However,since the production products have multiple brands and use uniform filter rod trays,if the empty trays with residual filter rods enter other brands of equipment for loading,it will confuse different brands of filter rods and cause quality accidents.In order to solve the problem,this paper analyzes the reasons for the failure of cigarette filter rods and designs a spray system for cleaning cigarette filter rods.Through simulation and actual working conditions experiment to improve the design of the spray system.Firstly,through analysis of the cigarette filter rod conveying device and the causes of the failure of the conveying,it was found that putting the empty tray of the remaining filter rods into production again will cause a large number of horizontal rods and uneven filter rod arrangement in the new full tray,which will cause the subsequent launch process a large number of sticks appeared,causing the transmitter to stop.The failure of filter rod delivery will further cause the failure of the transmitter,which will affect the production efficiency of the next process(i.e.cigarette),and even lead to quality accidents.According to the cause of the failure,the tray spray system was designed,the numerical model of the injection area was established,and the composition of the tray injection system and the selection of air compressors,nozzles and travel switches were determined.The tray spray system is designed according to the actual working conditions and the structural characteristics of the filter rod transmission system.The numerical model of the flow field of the spray system guides the optimal follow-up component parameters.Based on this model,the influence of the injection gas velocity and flow rate and the nozzle shape on the flow field is explored,and the production of the spray system is guided by this model.The study found that adjusting the initial velocity of the blowing gas can adjust the velocity of the air reaching the bottom of the blowing area and increase the velocity of the air reaching the bottom of the blowing area.The increase in the number of nozzles can expand the coverage of high-speed gas at the bottom of the blowing area,and the local air flow rate has also increased;adjusting the nozzle angle can further increase the coverage of high-speed gas at the bottom of the tray.Finally,the optimal parameters are: the initial blowing speed v=50 m/s,the nozzle diameter D=15 mm,the number of nozzles is 3,and the nozzle angle on both sides 15°.Finally,the factors affecting the residue of the filter rods in the tray are analyzed in the actual working conditions,and the parameters and specifications of different types of factors before the injection test are determined.The controlled variable test method based on different design parameters tested in detail the uniformity of the nozzle outlet gas flow,the eccentric angle of the nozzle,the nozzle outlet speed and the residual amount of the filter rod.Then combined with the results of the field test to further improve the structure of the spray system.The final test results showed that the improved residual filter rod removal rate reached 96.99%,and the failure frequency caused by the residual filter rod phenomenon was less than 1 time/hour.
