With the development of society,the demand for oil and gas has grown greatly.As the main way to transport liquid and gas energy,the pipeline has been used extensively.When transporting oil,natural gas and other materials,the defective pipeline cannot be found in time,which may cause serious safety accidents,So it is necessary to carry out safety inspection on the pipeline.But,manual detection can not meet the task requirements of pipeline detection,so it is necessary to develop a new pipeline detector.In this paper,a pipeline detector with high detection accuracy and strong practicability is designed.First of all,the advantages and disadvantages of the existing equipment are analyzed through the research of domestic and foreign detection equipment.In this paper,the design requirements of the detector are put forward according to the development requirements of the equipment,and a pipeline detector with high flexibility,high detection accuracy and strong adaptability is developed.In the case of full load,the frame of pipeline detector is simulated by finite element method.Combined with the stress analysis and deformation analysis of the frame,it is found that the frame structure designed in this paper meets the requirements.The finite element software is used to analyze and optimize the design of the connecting rod of the pipeline detector.The analysis shows that the optimized connecting rod not only meets the requirements of strength and hardness,but also reduces the quality of the connecting rod by 20%.The operation of pipeline detector in and out of pipeline is investigated by using ADAMS software.Through the numerical analysis of the speed and stability of the detector and the mechanical analysis of the force and torque of the wheel,it is found that the pipeline detector works well inside and outside the pipeline.Design the experiment of defect signal change in different height of pipeline detector,and analyze the signal of circular defect and groove defect in time-frequency.It is found that the peak valley value and the area of defect signal decrease in quadratic function with the increase of lift off height.When the defect signal is strong,the wave width fluctuates in a certain range,and when the defect signal is weak,the wave width decreases significantly.It indicates that the defect signal detected is good within the adjusted height.
