With the development of manufacturing industry,injection molding products are more and more widely used in various industries.The rapid pace of life accelerates the upgrading of products,which requires the corresponding injection mold design and manufacturing cycle to be shortened.The traditional injection mold design needs to rely on a large number of calculation data and repeated mold testing to constantly modify the process parameters and mold structure,so that the mold design and manufacturing cycle is long and the cost is high,which can not meet the market demand.With the development of CAE technology,the corresponding simulation analysis of mold structure and injection parameters before mold manufacturing can greatly shorten the mold design cycle and reduce the cost of mold design and license.In this paper,a brand of electrical surface shell parts as the object,using CAE technology,the injection molding process is studied:1.According to the theoretical knowledge of mold design,the mold and gating system,forming structure parts,ejection structure form of electrical surface shell parts are designed.2.CAE technology is used to simulate the forming process of electrical appliance surface shell parts.According to the simulation results,the best gate position,filling and cooling process are determined and analyzed,and the best forming scheme is obtained.3.According to the results of CAE technology analysis,the causes of defects in plastic parts are found out,and its DOE module is used to optimize the process parameters.The results show that the use of CAE technology,can accurately complete the injection mold flow analysis,in the subsequent mold design,can avoid the use of experience analysis,trial and error process,shorten the mold design and manufacturing cycle.
