Complicated thin-walled plastic parts in injection molding, deformation, large and complex parts difficult to fill the mold cavity defects. If the complex plastic parts of the residual stress is larger,after stripping caused deformation, the mechanical properties, optical properties and apparent quality deterioration. Also cause serious distortion and cracking. Especially due to warping deformation leading to cracking can make plastic parts directly become waste.Digital camera frame is an important structure. This complex structure uneven wall thickness,with text and tags and other small features. These characteristics bring inconvenience to the injection molding. While the uneven wall thickness will cause difficulties,filling the uneven shrinkage, the obvious stress concentration and warping deformation is too large to cracking.In view of the traditional injection mold design method in the presence of long design cycle,high cost and difficult to guarantee the quality of inadequacy,this paper introduces the computer using MoldFlow on the product structure,the mold structure,molding process parameter optimization method. Use of computer aided design software UG and finite element analysis software MoldFlow,the combination method of the camera body mold optimization design.This method can effectively shorten the molding cycle.test mode cycle and reduce scrap rate.Creating a camera casing three-dimensional entity model and mold flow analysis finite element model,Based on the factory original scheme of CAE analysis,for not changing the mould structure change injection molding process parameters of only,appear in the molding of deformation cracks and filling the problem of insufficient. After the study found only changes the injection molding process parameters can not solve the problems in injection molding.Based on in the process of injection gate location analysis,flow analysis,cooling analysis of the results of the simulation,analysis of warpage deformation,In the injection molding raw material added with20%glass fiber products; change the local structure; a redesign of the gating system and cooling systems and through the MoldFlow software and orthogonal experiment method on the injection molding process parameters optimization. Through this series of measures. Plastic parts of warpage reduced from0.5948mm to0.0713mm; the mean volumetric shrinkage rate from the original proposal of9.699%down to4.98%, most of the area had dropped to below2%; residual stress size from0.5781-89.72MPa reduced to4.5-18.93MPa; shrinkage and weld line,dent stratification,skin defect reduced obviously; the filling time reduced; solves filling shortage; shorten the molding cycle; the number of cavitation decreased significantly,small volume and majority is located on the edge of the product.After the actual factory inspection,product qualified rate from the original proposal of41.89%to94.35%.
