China is the first big country in fishery,whether the amount of breeding or fishing in the world’s proportion is very high.However,the processing of fish in China is relatively backward,and the average level of technology and equipment is low.Many places still use pure manual processing.Especially the link of fish pretreatment,which directly affects the development of modern fishery technology.Cutting head and tail link is the fish of the more important a part of the processing link.Taking the fish head and tail separated from fish body effectively,not only increase the utilization rate of the fish and raise fishery profits,also convenient for the subsequent processing or transportation,greatly improve the work efficiency and quality.So to develop a set of automatic cutting head and tail device is the development of domestic fisheries modernization is an important content.In this paper,the silver carp in freshwater fish as the research object,to study the physical characteristics of the fish body,the main contents of the research include the measurement of body shape characteristic parameters,fish head and tail cutting test.The fish body characteristic parameters include the weight and size measurement of each part of the fish and the physical characteristics test of the fish flesh.In the fish-head and fish-tail cutting experiment,the cutting effect of fish head and fish-tail under different cutting environments was studied by taking the type of cutting tool and the decreasing speed of cutting tool as the experimental factors.The experiment of fish flesh physical characteristics mainly studies the relationship between the load exerted by the clamp on the fish body and the effect of clamping the fish body,which provides a scientific theoretical basis for the design of the clamp.Based on the study of the physical characteristics of the fish body,the mechanical structure and control system of the device are designed.The main research content is as follows: the design of the manipulator arm,which is built with three synchronous belt guides and driven by a stepping motor to realize XYZ three-axis linear motion and drive the end-effector to cut the fish body.The design of the device bracket,the selection of aluminum profile as the main structure,can realize the connection between the conveyor and the mechanical arm,can ensure the stable operation of the mechanical arm.The design of machine vision system selects industrial camera to collect the image of fish body and transmits it to PC for image processing.PLC program design,Mitsubishi PLC as the main body of the automation system control,to ensure that from the detection of fish body position to the final fish head and tail cutting complete the complete set of actions to achieve the success.The design of the electric control cabinet,combined with the research content,chooses the economic and safe electrical equipment,to achieve the purpose of convenient operation and safety of people and money.The image processing method is designed.Matlab software is used to process the fish body image transmitted from the visual system to PC,which can accurately and quickly get the position of the fish head and tail.The communication method between the modules is designed.Lab VIEW software is used to complete the data transmission between PLC control system and MATLAB software,which requires quick response and accurate results.After the design and construction of the head and tail cutting device is completed,the cutting success rate,sectional sense and fish body yield score are taken as the main evaluation indexes to evaluate the effect of the cutting action of the prototype,so as to achieve the design objectives and requirements of this paper.
