Emoticons patterns are a form of cultural practice dominated by the youth cultural group's self-discourse power.Special symbolized clothing patterns are widely used and disseminated in youth culture as a product of cultural production and consumption.Emoticons patterns become a popular element in the youth cultural clothing market,because youth cultural groups use visual symbols to communicate and interact with emoticons,which constitute a corresponding group social space.In the process of producing,disseminating and consuming emoticons,the youth cultural groups have realized the identity of the individual and the group,as well as build their own youth cultural style and connotation.Regarding youth culture as the background and emoticons patterns as the main body,the research uses literature and text analysis,picture case analysis,questionnaire surveys and experiment design to analyze emoticons patterns,to investigate clothing consumption needs,to study the methods of meeting the market needs in youth culture.Combined with the theory,the research carries out the creative design practice of emoticons pattern clothing.The research analyzes and explores the structural modeling,expression forms and clothing functions of emoticons in the context of youth culture.Through the relevant analysis of emoticons pattern apparel product cases,the research analyzes the information characteristics of emoticons patterns in terms of similarity,instruction,symbolism and artistic aesthetics;explores the material types of emoticons patterns in the meaning of facial expressions,the simplification of stimulative body actions,the combination of narrative languages and buzzwords memes;studies the main expression forms of the emoticons patterns in the clothing composition relationship,the way of how to present them on the clothing through the production process,and the function of how to act in apparel products.Taking the youth cultural group as the research object,the research conducts a survey of the clothing consumption demand of emoticons patterns in the form of questionnaire survey.Combined with the survey results,it focuses on analyzing the clothing consumption demand analysis of youth cultural groups,the demands of patterns and emoticons patterns,and the satisfaction of emoticons patterns.Based on the instinct level,behavior level,and reflection level in "emotional design" theory,apparel product design experiments which rely on e-commerce apparel brands for production and sales have been conducted with the combination of the appearance of the pattern,the color of the pattern,the material and craft of the pattern,the symbolic meaning of the pattern,the emotional expression of the pattern,and the pattern with brand or IP in the research results to understand the actual needs of youth cultural groups for emoticons pattern apparel products.Finally,through the "ENJOY YOUR WEATHER" emoticons pattern innovative clothing design practice,the research explores the youth cultural value of emoticons patterns in order to inject cultural connotation and spiritual application value and meaning into the product by thinking about the youth cultural clothing consumption market in the emotional design of instinct level,behavior level and reflection level.
