Furniture is a major category of product design,among which Chinese traditional wooden furniture has been favored by people because of its solid and stable wood and elegant texture and color.Ceramic materials have the characteristics of heat resistance,strong corrosion resistance,not easy to wear,not easy to change color,these characteristics,as the components of furniture and cultural heritage elements are the appropriate choice.Ceramics and furniture are handicrafts with distinct attributes.They have their own unique development regulations and production rules,but they are in line with the development of art.They have interwoven with each other since ancient times.Ceramic materials because of good material stability,matching suitability and functional characteristics,coupled with rich and colorful glaze,texture and tactility and other art forms,gradually become a regular customer in industrial design such as furniture and other art decoration."Dust" with wood design concept comes from the "inaction" bland ",is one of the most important Taoism in China,the most distinctive design characteristics in traditional instrument design is functional and aesthetic harmony,and the environment,the perfect harmony between people,embody a concentrated reflection of the Chinese treat instrument of aesthetic and practical combination of simple attitude.This paper takes the design of tea table and chair combined with wood and porcelain as the research topic.The main research contents include: finishing the ceramic technology and development characteristics and the concept of tea table and chair furniture at home;Through case analysis of the application status of ceramic materials in the field of furniture,the size,function and aesthetic style of tea table and chair furniture are analyzed and explored.Through on-the-spot investigation to understand the development trend of ceramic technology,to slightly show the ceramic plate industry to bring a new direction of thinking;This paper explores the adaptability and harmonious beauty of ceramic and wood tea table and chair design from four aspects of cultural connotation,material characteristics,emotional resonance and aiming at groups.The design principles are interpreted on the basis of functional size,aesthetic appearance and market value,so as to produce more diversified design methods.In the design practice,the selection of wood materials and processing methods should fit the user's aesthetic taste and adapt to the needs of the environment.Hollow out for ceramic material using flake shape,decoration,modelling concise language,with Mosaic and used as spare parts,as the main form,can enrich the content of the modern furniture products,at the same time practice the revival of traditional art forms in the modern furniture again,open up more possibilities for carry forward the Chinese traditional culture.
