Forging equipment has always occupied an important position in the manufacturing industry and played a decisive role in the development of national economy.Forging and pressing equipment with simple structure,strong stiffness and Large working space can better meet the increasingly complex technological requirements,which is the focus of research at home and abroad.In this paper,a new type of forging press based on parallel mechanism is proposed.The forging performance of the forging press is improved by using the characteristics of the parallel mechanism,such as simple structure,strong stiffness and Large working space.Compared with the traditional forging press,the forging pressure of the new parallel forging press is directly transferred to the workpiece through the upper pressing plate,which shortens the transfer path,thus reducing the forging pressure loss and improving the forging efficiency.Moreover,the multi-degree of freedom of its movement makes the moving platform move flexibly.It is suitable for multi-dimensional forging of complex workpiece.The new parallel forging press proposed in this paper is based on 2(2RPR+2R)type parallel mechanism composed of plane closed loop branch.It mainly introduces the new forging press in the aspects of structure introduction,kinematics performance,mechanical performance,stiffness performance and hydraulic system design and analysis.First of all,by establishing a new type of parallel three-dimensional model of forging press and draw the wireframes to introduce the structure of the new type of forging press,three methods were used for forging press freedom degree calculation,vector method is used to get position the analytical solution of the inverse solution of position analysis,and use the Matlab/Simulink module build simulation model for the simulation solution of the inverse solution of position.Secondly,on the basis of position analysis of parallel kinematics and mechanics of forging press is analyzed,through constructing the relationship between input and output response velocity jacobin matrix and the acceleration of Hesse matrix to establish the kinematics model,mechanical model is established using the virtual work principle,and builds the simulation model for the simulation solution of kinematics and mechanics.Then,the elastic deformation of each component of the parallel forging press caused by driving force and binding force was analyzed.Based on the static analysis,the stiffness model was established.The analytical solution was obtained by using the program for example analysis,and the simulation solution was obtained by using the finite element software for simulation analysis.Finally,according to the design requirements of the new parallel forging press to some of its parts and hydraulic system analysis and design,parts of the design mainly includes size design and check,part of the connection mode,hydraulic system design is mainly through the analysis of the working principle of the hydraulic system and part of the selection of hydraulic components.
