Where is the development direction of ancient cultureit? is worth pondering.Yi inkstone,also known as " easy water inkstone ",a traditional Chinese handicraft,as one of the top ten famous inkstones,has a long history and culture,unique stone and regional culture,and it bears the skills of craftsmen and the feelings of local people.In 2008,the skill of making Yi inkstone was appraised as "National Intangible Cultural Heritage" by the State Council,As a part of China's excellent traditional culture,Yi inkstone has also become an important intangible cultural heritage.This study takes "Yi inkstone" culture as the object of study,and uses modern visual design and communication methods to protect and promote the Yi inkstone culture.With the local culture of Yi inkstone as the background,the carving technology of Yi inkstone as the support,the ink stone culture,regional culture and innovative development are combined,so as to protect and promote the "Yi inkstone" culture visually.Through the extraction of Yi inkstone cultural elements,Yi county cultural elements,ink stone cultural elements,combined with modern design,this study takes posters,picture albums,scenic spots and other cultural and creative products as the carrier to protect and promote culture.The research highlights the regional characteristics,makes people understand the raw materials and techniques of Yi inkstone,and is influenced by the cultural charm of Yi inkstone itself.The unique cultural content formed in the inheritance of Yi inkstone increases the feasibility of inheritance of Yi inkstone culture and the diversified possibilities of modern development,which has certain theoretical and practical significance for the inheritance and dissemination of Yi inkstone culture,and also has certain practical significance for developing Yi inkstone culture and promoting local economy.
