Research On The Design Of Cold-proof Clothing In Extremely Cold Environment

In recent years,with the increase of polar exploration activities,the requirements for clothing and equipment in polar expeditions are getting higher and higher.At present,there are many domestic researches on the thermal and moisture comfort performance of cold-proof clothing,and most of them are concentrated on the design of ventilation openings of clothing.There are few researches on the systematic arrangement of the factors affecting the functional requirements of cold-proof clothing in extremely cold environments and the design of the heat-humidity and sports comfort of cold-proof clothing.Therefore,this research takes the extremely cold environment as the design background,deeply analyzing the current climate status of various Antarctic scientific research stations through the literature research method.Meanwhile,summarizing the general climatic characteristics of Antarctic scientific research stations,such as low temperature,low humidity and high wind speed.From the perspective of the function of cold-proof clothing,based on the current understanding of different definitions of coldproof clothing in various countries around the world,as well as the current data collection and analysis of the types and characteristics of cold-proof clothing,the design type of cold-proof clothing in this article is determined.Combining with the understanding of the cold protection principle of clothing,that is,the thermal physiological regulation mechanism of the human body and the principle of heat and moisture transfer performance of clothing.This article is developed from two aspects of the heat and moisture comfort and sports comfort of cold protection clothing in extremely cold environments.Systematic analysis of factors affecting the functional requirements of cold-proof clothing in extremely cold environments,including internal and external factors.From the perspective of the human body,internal influencing factors are divided into physiological factors and psychological factors.Physiological factors include human metabolism,body temperature,sweating volume,et al.Psychological factors include human mental state and feeling of comfort.External factors mainly include two aspects of clothing itself and environmental factors.The clothing itself factors include fabrics,inter-layer configuration and style structure.Environmental factors include temperature,humidity and wind speed.Through interviews and surveys,we summarized the satisfaction of Antarctic expedition personnel with the current cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,the functional requirements for the thermal and moisture comfort of the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,the functional requirements for sports comfort and the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,preference choice of functional structure,and proposing corresponding solutions.Through the integration of the characteristics of the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,the principle of cold protection and the functional requirements of the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment.Analyzing the demand from three aspects of the style,fabric and color of the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,summarizing the needs of the cold-proof clothing in the extremely cold environment,and designing and practice the cold clothes in the extremely cold environment based on this.Through subjective and objective evaluation,it is proved that it can meet the thermal and humid comfort needs of scientific research personnel.It can effectively reduce the body surface temperature,reduce the amount of perspiration,and improve wearing satisfaction in the underarms,back and calves.Finally,through the research on the design of cold-proof clothing in extremely cold environment,a comprehensive scientific research method on the design of cold-proof clothing in extremely cold environment is obtained.The results of this research have high theoretical and practical guiding significance for the design of functional structure of cold-proof clothing and related outdoor clothing.
