Study On Thermal And Wet Comfort Of Clothing Fabrics In Moisture Condition

The functions of heat and moisture transfer of fabric has an important role on adjusting the microclimate between man and environment system.The clothing fabric thermal-moisture comfort can be quite different between high and normal humidity environment due to the existence of water molecular.This paper tests the moisture regain and the Crowe value of common clothing fabrics in several different humidity damp environment and compares the change of Crowe value of all kinds of clothing fabrics with the increase of humidity.Finally,we ask the volunteers to put on the clothing made of several common clothing fabrics separately under the condition of high humidity.Let the volunteers run at different intensities on the treadmill by testing change of skin surface temperature and subjective sensation of the volunteers in the running to comprehensive evaluate thermal-wet comfort of clothing fabrics under the condition of high humidity.This study provide guidance to the manufacturers of fabrics and some consumers.
