The cutting knitted wear,owing to its unique production form,has the convenience which cannot be replaced by the forming knitted wear;due to the unique elastic characteristics,has the better comfort which woven garment disables.The unique stretch-and-rebound,curling and disassociation characteristic of knitted fabric provides more innovation possibilities in fashion design.Among them,the curling characteristic attract me to research and explore it due to its unique visual effect.This paper mainly uses exploration,induction,summary,practice and other methods to carry out research and analysis.First of all,it systematically expounds the cutting knitted wear and curling characteristics,and probes the factors influencing the curling characteristics;secondly,starting from the creative practice,it explores the innovative design of curling characteristics in cutting knitted fabrics,including cutting,pulling,stacking,weaving,compound curling effect design practice;and analyzes the practical application of curling characteristics in cutting knitted clothing from three aspects of operability,market value and visual impact;finally,combined with the influence of curling characteristics on knitted fabric design and knitted wear silhouette,it explores the application in cutting knitted wear design.The research on the application of curling characteristics in cutting knitted wear is beneficial to enrich the texture level of cutting knitted fabric and the silhouette change of knitted clothing and make the comfort of knitted fabrics and the individuation of the fashion modeling unified,as well as providing design ideas and methods for cutting knitted wear.
