Conductive yarn and fabric are essential materials for making smart clothing.At present,most conductive yarn and fabric can not achieve the unity of high conductivity,flexibility and deformation recovery,which limits the development of smart clothing.At present,most of the conductive yarns and fabrics are difficult to have high conductivity,flexibility and deformation recovery properties,or hard,or the conductivity decreases greatly after stretching.Liquid metal(LM)is a kind of material with excellent electrical conductivity and good deformation characteristics at room temperature,which has attracted many researchers' attention.In this paper,aiming at the problem of insufficient bonding performance between liquid metal and substrate,firstly,liquid metal is modified,and then conductive yarn,fabric,film and conductive sponge based on modified liquid metal are prepared,which have both flexibility and high conductivity,Furthermore,the application of LM conductive sponge in pulse test was explored.(1)The liquid metal was modified with micron copper powder to reduce its surface tension and improve its adhesion to the substrate.The elastic conductive yarn was prepared by evenly coating the elastic conductive yarn on the surface.When the mass fraction of Cu is 8% ? 13%,Cu LM has good coating properties on the yarn;When the yarn elongation is 200%,the maximum change of resistance is not more than 3.00 ?? The analysis of change and oxidation under multiple stretching was supplemented;(2)The liquid metal modified by copper powder was further coated on the surface of rubber film and TPU coated elastic fabric,and encapsulated by PDMS to obtain LM conductive film and conductive fabric wire.No matter LM film or LM fabric,under 50 times of tensile recovery,the resistance change is very small,no more than 0.15 ?;It has the same oxidation resistance and high conductivity as elastic conductive yarn.Among them,the LM film can stretch 400%,while the fabric tensile ratio can reach 60%,and the resistance change in length direction is 0.12-21.62 ??(3)PDMS sponge was prepared by sacrificial template method,and liquid metal was immersed in it to prepare elastic sponge with excellent conductivity.When the lm-pdms sponge is extruded by external force,it changes from non-conductive state to conductive state.The larger the deformation is,the better the conductivity is.According to the quality of liquid metal inside the sponge and the degree of extrusion,the resistance of the sponge can reach 0.015-290.58 ?? The lm-pdms sponge was successfully used to detect the pulse changes during human movement.It is obvious that LM is an excellent way to obtain conductive units with high conductivity,good elasticity and conductivity retention when applied to elastic yarns and fabrics.
