Conductive fabrics have great application potential in the field of wearable equipment.However,most of the preparation methods damage the flexibility and comfort of the textile fabrics.The first part of our work describes a novel coating method without significant damage on the flexibility.L-cysteine(Cys)is grafted onto the surface of cotton fabrics at 180~oC,introducing numerous thiol groups on the cotton fibers to enhance the surface affinity with silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs).After loaded Ag NPs via a redox reaction of silver nitrate and sodium borohydride.A double-network conductive hydrogel is prepared by using acrylamide(AM),lauryl methacrylate(LMA)and sodium acrylate(SAA)as monomers,dodecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(DTBA)as micelle surfactant,N,N-methylene bis acrylamide(BIS)as crosslinking agent.After the conductive hydrogel layer was formed on the fiber surfacesby immersing the fabric into the gel reaction solution and further free radical polymerization,the surface resistivity of the resulting conductive fabric is very low at 37?/sq.The conductive stability against bending fatigue and folding test are promising,as that even after 1000 times of bending and 30 times of fold-unfolding the conductivity show very small decreases of 200%and 80%,respectively.Basing on the research conclusions,DNA is introduced on the Cys modified surface by immersing the fabric in DNA solution and form a DNA layer via the ionic attraction of the quaternary ammonium groups of Cys and the reactions with phosphate groups of DNA.After loaded Ag NPs on the fabric by the redox reaction of silver nitrate and sodium borohydride,the coating was further reacted with DTBA to obtain a hydrophobic surface.XPS,FTIR-ATR,and the measurements of electrical conductivity and heating function show that the surface electronic resistance of the conductive fabric is low at 24?/sq,and can withstand 4500 times of bending and5400 times of twisting tests.The heating function results indicate that the temperature of fabrics can rise to 60.3~oC when 4.5 V electrification voltage was applied.Even after 1000 times of bending tests,the heating function is satisfiedly remained.
