On The Inheritance And Innovation Of Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang Costume

As a tribe of Mongols,the Buryat Mongols have distinctive costumes that differ significantly from those of other tribes,and Shengzhuang is a representative type of costume which deserves in-depth discussion.The thesis takes Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang as the object of research,focuses on the inheritance and innovation of Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang and is carried out via document analysis,picture analysis,field work and other research methods.A large number of domestic and foreign academic data is used,as the first step,to conclude the characteristics of Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang.Secondly,the development and evolution of the tribe Buryat Mongols is divided into three stages upon which the characteristics of costume are sorted out and summarized.Finally,the cultural elements of Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang are explored,and a modern aesthetic design framework is created to aid research.This research finds out that,under the influence of historical,environmental and other factors,Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang is in the process of evolution.There are significant cultural elements of the costume structure passed down to this day,namely,the swan totem shoulder structure which represents the sun and fire elements of the coma hat,a symbol of ethnic hero worship nine structure and condensed deer totem worship of the antler-like antler pattern.Moreover,the totem worship,folk hero legends and other ethnic cultural connotations of Buryat Mongols have a profound influence on the shape,structure,color collocation,function evolution and other characteristics of the tribal costumes.Finally,inspired by the characteristic elements of Buryat Mongolian Shengzhuang,this thesis conducts a series of research on the creation of photography,painting and jewelry works with modern innovative design concepts and methods.
