Study On The Application Of Zhangzhou Puppet Sculptures In The Design Of Modern Creative Men's Clothing

Zhangzhou puppet head carving art with outstanding regional characteristics,with a profound cultural background of Minnan folk customs,is a collection of painting,Fujian wood carving,Minnan customs in one of the three-dimensional,pluralistic excellent folk art,known as "Oriental art treasures ".But this excellent traditional folk art in the rapid development of today,by time and high-tech constantly scour,Zhangzhou puppet head carving art at home and abroad,but also facing a variety of severe challenges.The thesis is to make analysis,generalization and conclusion in the aspects of origin,development,artistic value and artistic styling features of the art puppet head sculpture of Zhangzhou.In the thesis,the facebook pattern and styling structure for the art puppet head sculpture of Zhangzhou are extracted,drawn and redesigned respectively to explore the feasibility of the art puppet head sculpture of Zhangzhou in application to modern creative men's wear design,then the experimental demonstration is performed.Finally the author selected the “three-block combination”structure,flexible eye and mouth,etc.of puppet head of Zhangzhou to combine with shell fabric,color and outline which are used for modern creative men's wear design,so as to conduct practice and creation with feather cotton,woolen yarn,eraser rope,hemp rope,plastic rayon mesh,and other materials by the creative technique of secondary creation of shell fabric,treating the sculpture elements of puppet head in the plane and three-dimension manner.The thesis is to combine the styling art of puppet head of Zhangzhou with modern creative men's wear design to break through the traditional way of stage performance of Zhangzhou puppet by taking costume design as the medium of spreading,so as to spread in fashionable expression manner to excite the youth population,so that more people can understand and enjoy the charm of this diversified traditional folk art.
