As for clothing,there is a famous Chinese proverb that goes,"clothing,food,shelter,travel and clothing come first." This saying deeply reflects the important value of clothing in People's Daily life.With the rapid development of economy and society,we no longer hold the idea of practicality first,but pay more attention to the conditions of the occasion and environment when we buy clothes.Such as the sun,snow,rain,wind and other weather,or the interview,work,study,commute and other scenes,these external factors also have a profound impact on our dress selection that day.Sensitive designers of major outdoor brands have also made corresponding improvements in design to meet the needs of consumers in different scenarios.Clothing with functions such as moisture absorption,quick drying and waterproof have mushroomed in the eyes of consumers.However,because the clothing merchants pay attention to the function but ignore the aesthetic feeling in the production,the beauty and functionality of the clothing in the waterproof clothing market has not yet been balanced,and has not been well loved by the public,so this phenomenon also reflects the limitations of the waterproof clothing market.This paper,from the perspective of aesthetics and functions,seeks for the commonness of the two and combines them,hoping to improve the problem of aesthetic deficiency of waterproof clothing,meet people's aesthetic needs and ensure the waterproof effect.Through the method of literature collection,the research results of waterproof fabric and clothing structure technology at home and abroad are sorted out,and the relevant key theories are summarized.The modern waterproof clothing as the carrier of fashion research,waterproof clothing product consumption demand,development trend,the lack of fashion and how to improve the discussion;Data collection and factory survey before design and production,waterproof test of fabrics using international measurement methods to ensure the effectiveness of waterproof in subsequent garment production;The SD semantic difference method was used to design a questionnaire,and people's final choice was taken as the first element of evaluation through the questionnaire survey method.110 questionnaires were randomly distributed to young people aged 18-35 with 17 questions,and fashion design was carried out according to the results of the questionnaires.After the garment was made,102 questionnaires for fashion performance verification were released,and the final data chart was made by SPSS data statistical analysis software.Effectively implementing the design of waterproof clothing is the key to meet people's demand for diversified and humanized clothing.
