A Study Of Chinese Gourd Art

In the process of the development of human civilization,human beings inevitably have a relationship with nature.Human beings use many natural things to enrich their own civilization,gourd is one of them.Chinese ancestors not only processed and transformed the gourd itself in various ways,but also created a unique "gourd" image,which constantly endowed it with multilevel and multi angle cultural connotation.Moreover,the image of gourd was widely used in life and artistic creation,which gave birth to Chinese gourd art.This paper focuses on the interpretation and analysis of the birth and development of Chinese traditional gourd art,further digging the spiritual core behind it,understanding and grasping the concept of thing and nature of Chineseancestors,inordertoprovidereferenceanddirectionforthecurrentartisticcreation.In addition to the introduction,the full text is divided into four chapters.The introduction part mainly defines the concept of the research object,explains the research theme,clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,and briefly analyzes the research status and introduces the research methods.The first chapter deduces the unnatural process of gourd as a natural plant in China by combing and integrating the material evidence of archaeological discoveries.This paper briefly explains the basic value of gourd in ancient Chinese utensils and aesthetics,and sets the tone for the full text.The second chapter further refines the two categories of Chinese traditional gourd art: gourd entity art and gourd symbol art,and expounds the specific art types and development process.The third chapter analyzes the creative concept and aesthetic interest of traditional Chinese gourd art around "taking meaning from form" and "becoming useful from quality".The fourth chapter summarizes and analyzes the generation logic of gourd art,and discusses the contemporary value and significance of traditional gourdart.
