Design Practice Of Modern Maternity Dress In Workplace Environment

With the development of the times and the progress of society,women are playing an increasingly important role in social and economic development,and women in the workplace have become an indispensable part of the production and construction of all walks of life.Pregnancy is a special period between pregnancy and childbirth.The whole cycle is about 280 days.The physical characteristics will gradually change with the passage of time during pregnancy,manifested in physical,psychological,emotional and other aspects.Pregnant women in the workplace are protected by the Labor Law and can continue to work on their posts.During this period,pregnant women need to wear maternity clothes to work.In the workplace environment,pregnant women have their particularities.On the one hand,it meets the needs of pregnant women’s body shape changes from the perspective of the pregnant woman,and on the other hand,it meets the requirements of dressing in the workplace environment.Therefore,it is necessary to explore and practice research on design methods to solve Women’s workplace dressing during pregnancy.This topic sorts out the research results of maternity clothes at home and abroad.Based on the research results of maternity clothes,combined with the characteristics of women’s physical and mental changes during pregnancy,the exploration and practical research of maternity clothes design methods in the workplace environment are carried out.According to the characteristics of the body shape and psychological changes of pregnant women at different stages,the theoretical basis is clothing science,color psychology,clothing material science,pattern design principles,etc.,to meet the needs of pregnant women for the external silhouette,internal structure,color,and fabric of clothing.Then,on the basis of women’s dressing characteristics and dress codes in the workplace,a design plan for maternity dresses in the workplace environment is given,and design practice is carried out.The research on this subject can provide feasible solutions to the workplace dressing problems of pregnant women,and provide design practice reference for the development of maternity clothing brand product lines.
