Textile industry has always been in a pillar position as a basic consumer goods industry in our country’s economic and social development.In the field of spinning,it is the important measures that monitors and manages the state of spandex and spun yarn to ensure yarn quality,improve enterprise efficiency and reduce hidden safety hazards in the spinning workshop.Aiming at the abnormal state of spandex and spun yarn during the spinning process,a monitoring system for textile machines is developed to realize real-time monitoring and processing of abnormal working conditions.The system includes an in-depth study of the system’s hardware design,algorithm research and monitoring and management host computer.Based on the monitoring mode of the godet rolls and travelers,a low-cost system scheme is built under the restraint condition of complexity of the monitoring algorithms and the convenience of field implementation.The monitoring devices are designed with the function of monitoring the state of spandex and spun yarn,and automatic processing of abnormal state.The node machine is developed to realize information transmission and power supply between systems based on chain communication and bus power supply.A state monitoring algorithm based on sliding window is proposed to monitor the state of spandex and spun yarn.With fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,a wear detection algorithm for godet rollers is designed to improve the monitoring accuracy.The process and false trigger recognition algorithm make the monitoring system recognize the production process and workers’ false touch,and lessen the false alarm rate.According to the FSM theory,a communication protocol and a communication algorithm are established to implement the information interaction.The host computer is used to display the working condition in real time,collect and process production data,which achieves the information management in spinning workshop.The proposed route planning algorithm provides the optimal moving path for workers to improve working efficiency and lighten the labor burden.The developed monitoring system is experimented in spinning workshop.The results show that the monitoring accuracy of abnormal conditions of various types of spandex and spun yarn is more than 98%,both the yarn quality and the production efficiency are improved,and the raw material and production cost are saved remarkably at the same time.The successful development of this system realizes the intelligent monitoring and management of spinning,hence improves the intelligent level of spinning enterprises.
