Bionics research had found that the non smooth surface can effectively reduce the friction and wear compared with the smooth surface.This kind of non smooth surface with certain morphology is called texture.In recent years,texture has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad,and their applications in various fields have been studied.Among them,some scholars introduced texture into cutting tools and studied the cutting performance of textured tools.The results show that texture can significantly improve the cutting performance of cutting tools,improve the wear resistance and adhesion resistance of tools.However,the friction reduction mechanism of textured cutting tools is not clear,and the texture form is relatively simple,mostly groove texture.In view of the above problems,the texture preparation and texture cutting mechanism are studied in this paper.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,based on the classical cutting theory,the tribological characteristics of the tool chip interface in the cutting process are analyzed.By establishing the mathematical model of the textured tool,the tribological characteristics of the tool chip interface in the cutting process of the textured tool are analyzed.The analysis results show that the texture can improve the cutting performance of the tool.Secondly,a two-dimensional orthogonal cutting model of cemented carbide textured tools for cutting aluminum alloy is established by using numerical simulation method.The effects of texture parameters(texture edge distance,texture width,texture spacing,texture depth)on the cutting performance of textured tools are mainly studied.The results show that the reasonable texture parameters can improve the cutting performance of the tool,and the unreasonable texture parameters will cause the secondary cutting of the chip by texture.When the secondary cutting phenomenon is serious,the cutting performance of the tool will be worse.Thirdly,YT15 blade was used as experimental material to process texture in air environment and absolute ethanol environment.The effects of laser processing times,scanning speed and laser power on texture morphology and wettability of texture surface were studied.The results show that the groove texture is processed in air,and the texture size is affected by laser parameters,and the texture surface prepared in air environment has super hydrophilic property.The innovative ring convex texture is processed in absolute ethanol environment,and the size and density of ring convex texture are affected by laser parameters,and the texture surface prepared in absolute ethanol can be processed without any treatment To show hydrophobic properties.Finally,according to the simulation results and the influence of laser parameters on texture parameters,YT15 was used as the material to prepare the texture tool AT with the best texture parameters in the simulation results in the air environment,and the texture tool ET with the best hydrophobic effect in the experimental results was prepared in the absolute ethanol environment,and then the composite texture tool CT was prepared by combining the two textures.The cutting performance of textured tool was verified by dry /lubrication cutting test.The results show that the main cutting force of the composite textured tool CT is less than that of the non textured tool under dry cutting condition,and the main cutting force of the other two textured tools AT and ET is greater than that of the non textured tool,and all textured tools have good antiwear and anti adhesion properties.Under the lubrication cutting condition,the main cutting force of all textured tools is less than that of non textured tools,and there is no wear and adhesion in the texture area.The wetting property of composite texture does not play its role in the cutting process.In this paper,texture optimization,texture preparation and cutting performance of texture cutting tools were studied by theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experiment.Different types of textures were prepared in air and absolute ethanol environment.The wetting characteristics of texture surface,comprehensive texture morphology and wettability of texture surface were analyzed,and the influence of texture cutter on cutting performance was studied.
