In modern manufacturing industries,large gears have become an indispensable part of engineering technology applications.In order to ensure the accuracy of large gears,it is necessary to establish the quantity traceability of large involute.If the quantity traceability cannot be established,the measurement results of large gears will be inconsistent,which will seriously affect the improvement of the quality of large gears.A large gear involute artifact is characterized by the large size,complicated shape,and high machining difficulty and the high precision measuring instrument for its precision inspection is not available.For this reason,a new method is proposed to replace the involute tooth profile with a special shape with controllable precision.A new type of large size involute artifact,a double-axis arc-shaped large size involute artifact is proposed.Through this,the high-precision manufacturing and high-precision measurement of the artifact as well as the quantity traceability of large involute was realized.It extends the national standard of involute of big gear and finally improves the manufacturing level of big gear industry in our country.This topic "Research on the principle of new large size involute artifact" is to study the problem of quantity traceability of large involute.Through the principle of replacing the involute profile by the circular arc,we develop a new large size involute artifact for calibrating large gear measuring instruments.The main research contents include:(1)Based on the design idea of the involute of the approximate arc replacement theory,a double-axis arc-shaped large-size involute artifact is proposed.Establish and analyze the principle error model,and study the selection criterion of the optimal arc.Based on the selection of the optimal arc,the mathematical formulas of the two main design parameters of the large artifact are derived,and the precision distribution of the double-axis arc-shaped large-size involute artifact is carried out.(2)Research on the evaluation method of gear measuring instruments with double-axis arc-shaped involute artifact.The double hump curve is used to evaluate the single error of the gear measuring instrument,including the gain error,hysteresis error and pressure angle error of the instrument.According to the involute curve of the hump curve,evaluate the performance of the tooth surface deviation measurement of the gear measuring instrument.(3)The feasibility experiment is carried out on the double-axis arc-shaped involute artifact,and analyze the experimental results.The static analysis and temperature field analysis of the double-axis arc-shaped involute artifact are carried out.By analyzing the influencing factors of the double-axis arc-shaped involute artifact in evaluating the instrument,the uncertainty of the artifact is studied,including the mechanical structure,probe radius error,instrument rotation angle deviation.
