Study On The Modeling Of Chenxi Shetang Puppet

Rod puppets is one of the indispensable types in China's traditional puppet system,which has rich cultural connotation and a long history.Hunan Chenxi Shetang puppets,as an important member of the Rod puppets,was included in the provincial intangible cultural heritage list in 2016 and is now applying for the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects.According to previous research found that at present most of person have studied Chenxi Shetang puppets from the aspects of drama theme,artistic singing,stage settings,etc.,but the puppetmaking materials,manufacturing techniques and plastic arts have any systematic and comprehensive indepth research been found on.Therefore,the research on the modeling in Chenxi Shetang puppets from the perspective of fine arts has a new meaning.The author went to Chenxi Shetang Puppet Theater and local county cultural center repeatedly and got vivid and detailed firsthand information.From the perspective of fine arts and intangible cultural heritage,this paper studies and explores the historical origin,folk culture and development status of the puppets in Shetang,Chenxi.Based on the collected data,it summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of puppet head,facial features,body clothing,helmets and hats and other manufacturing features in the puppets in Shetang,Chenxi,in order to protect China's intangible cultural heritage and improve the production of puppets and the level of innovation,for Chenxi Shetang puppet show inheritance and development to find ways.Based on the view of fine arts,this article uses indepth theory to combine practice with logical methods from abstraction to concreteness,and makes a profound study on the form features of Chenxi Shetang puppets.It's divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of the historical origins of Chenxi Shetang puppets and their lineages and functions,the second part is to sort out and summarize the collected data.The technological process of Chenxi Shetang puppets is analyzed,and through the research on its materials and processes,the new materials and new processes that are urgently needed to be developed and excavated in the stage of Chenxi Shetang puppet production are mentioned.what's more,the third part analyzes the factors that affect the puppet shape of Chenxi Shetang from three aspects:sorcery,religion and drama culture and to explore its stylized shape characteristics,contrasting colors and a variety of decorative patterns,and changes in the traditional stage under the influence of modern technology.Furthermore,the fourth part analyzes the inheritance and protection of Chenxi Shetang puppets based on the refining of the third partand the actual situation,and discusses the feasible methods from the aspects of inheritance and protection,development and application of Chenxi Shetang puppets.By analyzing the morphological characteristics and functional value of Chenxi Shetang puppet art,the writer is aiming to promote and protect the intangible cultural heritage of Chenxi Shetang puppet art,for a new development path of Chenxi Shetang puppet art,and realize the inheritance and development of folk puppet art.
