Research On The Modeling Art And Inheritance Of Gansu Nuo Mask

Nuo culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture,which has a long history and rich connotation.As one of the birthplace of nuo culture,gansu province has a large number of nuo cultural resources with unique forms and rich connotations.The less developed economy,information,transportation and other realistic conditions objectively protect the rich living status of gansu nuo culture.Mask is the most significant element and feature of nuo,and plays a crucial role in nuo performance.This article through to the gansu province nuo cultural history background,the environment remains examination as well as to the representative area of performance and nuo nuo masks modelling characteristic analysis,to find the cultural context of the contain in gansu province nuo masks,modelling art concept,and nuo masks made fundamental classification of gansu province,reveals the gansu province nuo masks of art value,folklore value.On the basis of this academic research,two aspects of the problem are further explored.The first is to explore the formal language features of modeling and decoration in gansu exorcism masks and the symbolic meaning behind them,to explore the existing relationship between exorcism masks and modern design,to promote its application in modern design,and to seek the embodiment of the combination of design art and local characteristics of gansu.The second is to find out the problems existing in the process of inheritance based on the special legacy environment,and to carry out the protection and inheritance work according to local conditions for the special legacy environment of exorcism masks in gansu province by combining with the effective experience and measures of exorcism masks,exorcism culture and intangible cultural heritage protection at home and abroad.This paper is divided into six parts.The second part summarizes the historical background of gansu exorcism culture and the distribution of exorcism masks.The third part focuses on analyzing the modeling art of exorcism masks in four representative regions of gansu province,and summarizes the overall modeling features and the value of the modeling art of exorcism masks in gansu province from the perspectives of facial features,colors,decorative patterns,materials and production techniques.The fourth part analyzes the application cases related to masks and applies them to the design of tourism cultural and creative products.In the last two parts,the author analyzes the existing environment of exorcism masks in gansu province,the public's misunderstanding of exorcism culture and the structure dilemma of inherits and puts forward feasible Suggestions.
