Coal is the most important primary energy source in my country, and coal mine production safety is the guarantee for the healthy development of the coal industry. There are many underground operation sites, long lines and wide areas, and the working environment is complicated. The management of personnel and equipment is very difficult, and safety accidents are extremely easy to occur. At present, the personnel positioning system of coal mine equipment mostly adopts the interval positioning method, and the positioning accuracy is low, which can no longer meet the requirements of the coal mine for the precise management of personnel and equipment and the rescue and disaster relief. Therefore, the development of a new generation of coal mine personnel and equipment precise positioning system has become an urgent problem to be solved.UWB(Ultra Wide Band,UWB)technology, with its unique carrier-free communication, has good anti-interference ability and positioning accuracy, has become the preferred technology for the development of precision positioning systems for coal mines.Based on this, this paper designs a UWB-based underground positioning platform for coal mines. The main contents are as follows:1.Introduced the background significance of the entire subject, and clarified the research significance of the precise positioning system for coal mine personnel.2.A systematic analysis of the domestic and foreign research status of related researches, and summarized the problems that need to be solved:(1)The positioning accuracy is low,and it is difficult to meet the precise positioning requirements;(2)The number of positioning tag cards is small, which cannot meet the technical requirements of the latest coal mine personnel precise positioning system.(3)Few systems use GIS-related technologies and cannot visually display the location of personnel;(4)Most of them adopt C/S architecture, which is complicated to operate.3.In-depth study of several classic positioning algorithms, analysis of the main factors affecting positioning accuracy and comparison of their respective advantages and disadvantages through simulation. On this basis,a joint least squares positioning algorithm based on extended Kalman filter is proposed. The process of the positioning algorithm is described in detail and the simulation verification is carried out, which proves that its positioning accuracy is lower than the traditional single positioning algorithm.4.Through the research of "AQ 6210-2007 General Technical Requirements for the Management System of Underground Workers in Coal Mines" and "Technical Requirements for the Accurate Positioning System for People in Shandong Coal Mines(Trial)",the requirements of the positioning platform were analyzed in detail, and the main functions to be realized were determined. The overall design of the positioning platform.5.According to the system communication process and the data transmission function requirements of the platform, the communication protocol between the platform and the substation based on the UDP protocol is designed.6.Completed the design of the platform software. It mainly includes: the design of the database part and the design of the main functional modules of the positioning platform. The database design adopts the idea of splitting: fixed data is stored in a static table, and real-time changing data is stored in a dynamic table. The two are related to improve data processing efficiency;ArcGIS is developed based on the ADF framework, and the main functions are designed based on the B/S architecture.Modules are specifically divided into functions such as real-time positioning, historical trajectory query, area personnel information query, alarm surrounding personnel information query,over-limit area statistics, historical report printing and other functions. Each function interface is displayed in the GIS diagram.
