The Application Of The Sparrow Brace Elements Of Hui-style Architecture In Contemporary Costume Design

With the rapid updating trend of today's fashion,people have higher and higher requirements on the artistic and practical aspects of fashion design.Multi-dimensional and multi-level collision and fusion of culture and design and cross-border cooperation become one of the mainstream of today's fashion design.Open and inclusive of cross in the field of fashion design thinking and the different absorption and creation inject new vitality to the contemporary fashion design industry.Both architecture and clothing bear the mark of history,and both achieve art by modeling and decoration on the basis of ensuring practical efficacy.Huizhou architecture is one of the most representative historical and cultural symbols in Huizhou,China.It also has strong artistic expression and unique artistic style.In this article,through exploring pattern,colors and modellings of sparrow brace in hui-style architecture,I hope to study its historical development,characteristics and cultural connotation,through the application of architectural elements in the clothing design exploration cases was summarized,trying to set up accordingly connection of Chinese traditional architecture and contemporary fashion design,and then from three aspects as shape,color,textiles to establish a theoretical system that how to translate architectural elements of sparrow brace into costume design and to complete the design work practice.Through this study,I hope to explore the relationship between traditional architecture and costume design,and at the same time to integrate contemporary design concepts and technologies,so as to realize the inheritance and promotion of contemporary costume design to traditional culture through the imitation of costume to architecture.
