The purpose of the bar rolling line is rolling billets from steel making mill to deformed bars and round bars with heating in the heating furnace or electric furnace,and then compressing,cooling and shearing through the roller.The deformed bar can be used in building,road,bridge,airport and many other construction projects,and the round bar can be manufactured as gear,bolt,spring and other spare parts.The main process equipments in the bar rolling line are heating furnace area equipments,rolling area equipments,cooling bed area equipments and collecting area equipments.The equipment in the furnace area is the core equipment in the whole rolling line,which is directly related to the safety,output,quality,cost control and other factors,and the stable operation of the equipment has always been the control difficulty of the rolling line.Both the current situation of bar rolling line and the future development trend on domestic and abroad is introduced in this article.Take the process equipments in heating furnace in the domestic rolling line as an example,the article analyzes the causes in theoretically,then make sure the main remold content based on the actual situation and the experience.As per the characteristics of the heating furnace process equipments,the article analyses the main faults and causes,then combines with main parameter,proposes the latest remold scheme.Theoretical calculation was done on the feeding track and scrap removal equipments.The finite element software is used to analyze the scrap removal equipments,and the rationality and feasibility of the remold scheme are verified.CAD,CAXA and Solid Works are used to design the new mechanical structure of the key equipment,such as feeding track,scrap removal equipments,wheel of scrap removal equipments,etc.,and the design and processing of engineering drawings are completed.According to the optimized process,the control program of billet hoist,feeding track,pusher of heating furnace are programmed.After the remolds,the fault time reduced from 103 hours in 2013 to 17.75 hours in 2018.The capacity of the equipment has been improved,as well as the electrical and automation control level,the expected objectives have been achieved.The achievements in the article can be used for reference by other heating furnace process equipments in the same.
