At present,the relevant application technology of using ultra-high pressure water jet technology for material cutting has become mature.In the 1980 s,based on pure waterjet technology,a new cutting technology of abrasive water jet(AWJ)was developed through scientific research,which has been recognized by more and more people in the industry.High pressure abrasive accurate flow technology has many advantages that other traditional processing technologies do not have.As a cold processing technology,the biggest features are clean and environmentally friendly,without tool wear,wide processing range and high cutting accuracy.At this stage,high-pressure abrasive precision flow technology is equivalent to high-energy beam processing technologies,such as laser,ion beam and other elec-tron beam.This technology has become mature,and is widely used in the mechanical processing and material production of construction,commodity,national defense,crafts and other industries.In this paper,aiming at the problem of inaccurate and unstable abrasive conveying during the mixing and feeding process of traditional abrasive water jet abrasives,a screw-pump cutting head device is designed,whose core component is a special spiral screw,which can quantitatively,actively and stably transport abrasive under the control of the motor.The abrasive supply flow test of the improved high-pressure water jet abrasive flow control device is carried out.The input voltage and output abrasive flow rate are measured and recorded respectively.The error analysis of the theoretical flow rate and the actual flow rate of the abrasive flow rate is carried out,and the rationality of the design is judged according to the error of the abrasive flow rate.The experimental results show that the average error of abrasive mass flow is 2.3g/min and the average relative error is 3.2%.The abrasive conveying device can meet the requirements of high-pressure abrasive water jet precision cutting.The experimental results show that there is a significant difference in the material cross-section roughness between the improved abrasive water jet cutting head device and the traditional self-priming abrasive supply device.The average surface roughness of the material cut by the improved abrasive water jet feeding device is 1.706 ? m,and that of the traditional self suction feeding device is 4.316 ? M.The cutting surface roughness accuracy of the improved abrasive water jet feeding device is 2.53 times higher than that of the traditional self suction feeding device.Therefore,the device has good improvement and practicability,and will have a broad application prospect.
