According to the theory of solid-liquid two-phase flow to analyze flow field inside andoutside of the nozzle. We has established a visual model of the velocity field. Using FLUENTsoftware to analysis the each node’s velocity of abrasive water jet inside and outside of thenozzle. According to the velocity distribution, discusses the main factors that affect the speedof the abrasive. To study the influence of fluid properties and abrasive characteristics of the jet flow fieldperformance. Firstly, using the principles of computational fluid dynamics, calculated inaccordance with the order of presentation of the pre-treatment, the establishment of thenumerical model、meshing、boundary conditions and initial conditions’ setting、calculatethe control parameter settings, etc. Using mixed model in FLUENT software, the velocity ofthe jet flow field, pressure, and other physical media numerical simulation of two-phase flow.Under the same boundary conditions and initial conditions, doing numerical simulation andemulation inside and outside the nozzle of high-pressure abrasive water jet.Changing the viscosity、the flow and the density to observe the Influence in the field of force andvelocity distribution. The results show that: density increases can improve the force and velocitysignificantly; but viscosity increase has a opposite effect, since the flow resistance increasing, making the outlet velocity fast decay. On the other hand, the flow of the working medium can alsohave a greater impact on the inlet velocity and jet results. An appropriate increase within the range inthe device can improve jet results. Finally, this paper summarizes the results obtained in the study and the lack of jet nozzles, prospects for future research work proposed, Future research and optimization of high-pressurewater jet cleaning nozzle designed to provide a reference for some of the conclusions drawn for thearticle.
