Research On The Aesthetic Fusion Of Traditional Dyeing Paper-cut And Modern Patchwork Art

Chinese aesthetics has always had the concept of "Heaven and Man are one",which conveys people's pursuit of truth,goodness and beauty.Whether it is paper-cutting art or patchwork art,"Heaven and Man are one" as the pursuit goal.As a traditional Chinese folk art,the art of paper-cutting has unique local colors and national characteristics,as well as practicability and aesthetic functions.Patchwork art has also been continuously developed and improved in this ideological system.Traditional Chinese patchwork embodies people's lifestyle of taking nature and returning to nature,seeking unity in chaos,and has distinctive Chinese aesthetic ideological characteristics.This article integrates the dyeing paper-cut elements into modern patchwork art,researches its "newness" in patchwork art,and realizes the transformation and innovation of research results through creative practice,and explores dyeing paper-cutting and modern patchwork art.The aesthetic fusion.Firstly,it analyzes the application status of paper-cutting art in design and the development status of patchwork art,discussing the necessity of the integration of paper-cutting elements and modern patchwork art.Secondly,from the aspects of formal language,function and artistic conception,it sorts out the aesthetic connotation and composition of folk paper-cutting and patchwork art.The focus is on the feasibility of applying dyed paper-cutting in modern patchwork art from four aspects:color modeling,pattern craftsmanship,cultural emotion and social value.Finally,it explains the author's exploration process of combining dyed paper-cutting with modern patchwork art,including the extraction and reconstruction of paper-cutting shapes,the conversion of materials,techniques,and the reproduction of color language.The art of paper-cutting has brought many enlightenments to modern design.The modern quilting art not only enhances the vitality and creativity of dyeing paper-cutting,but also makes an attempt for the Chinese characteristic style of modern quilting art by learning from the dyeing paper-cutting techniques.
