Disappearing inks can fade from colored to colorless under certain conditions,which can recycle the substrates,save resources and protect the environment.Disappearing inks were widely used in anti-counterfeiting,clothing products and stationery,and can be directly printed or poured into pens.Disappearing inks were mainly divided into thermal-disappearing inks,water-disappearing inks and self-disappearing inks.Thermaldisappearing inks and water-disappearing inks need to be heated or washed to decolorize,which was costly,while the self-disappearing inks can physically or chemically react with the components in the natural environment to decolorize without additional cost.However,the self-disappearing inks on the market have the problem that the decolorization time was too short or too long,which cannot meet the actual application requirements.In order to solve the problem of uncontrollable time of self-disappearing inks,this paper studied the relationship between the composition of self-disappearing inks and the decoloring performance,determined the formula of self-disappearing inks,and prepares a self-disappearing ink to meet market needs and prepared a decolorizing pen that can automatically decolorize in about 24 hours.This thesis prepares self-erasing inks by screening color-developing agents,solvents,and binders,and discusses the effects of these four different ink components on the erasing of inks.At the same time,it discusses ordinary fiber paper,short fiber paper,photographic paper,cotton cloth and The five substrates of burlap and the humidity environment of 10%rh,20%rh,30%rh,40%rh and 50%rh affect the decolorization time,and according to the requirements of about 24 hours in the actual application of decolorization,The formula is optimized to determine the content of each ink component.The research found:(1)Using phenolphthalein as the color developing agent,sodium hydroxide(Na OH)as the developer,absolute ethanol as the solvent,and ethyl cellulose as the binder,a normal temperature self-disappearing ink can be prepared.The self-disappearing ink is non-corrosive to paper and clothing fabrics,and has no pungent odor.After being prepared as a decolorizing pen,it can be automatically decolorized in about 24 hours without any obvious residue.(2)As the content of phenolphthalein increases,the decolorization speed of the selfdisappearing ink first increases rapidly and then gradually slows down.With the gradual increase of the Na OH content,and after reaching a certain level,the color will not fade completely in the end.With the increase of ethyl cellulose content,the self-disappearing time of the ink gradually increases.(3)The self-disappearing ink of the same formula has different decoloring time on different printing materials.When the content of phenolphthalein and Na OH is low,the decoloring time is the longest on ordinary fiber paper,followed by linen cloth.The decolorization time is the shortest on photo paper.The decolorization time on cotton cloth and short-fiber paper is close,and it is between linen cloth and photographic paper.However,when the content of phenolphthalein and Na OH is high,the influence of the properties of the substrate itself on the decolorization time is reduced,and the gap between the decolorization time on different substrates is reduced.(4)The decoloring time of self-disappearing ink is continuously shortened as the environmental humidity changes from 10%rh to 50%rh.The greater the humidity of the decolorization environment,the faster the decolorization.
