Jiangnan painting embroidery is a unique type of embroidery that is closely integrated with the art of calligraphy and painting.It combines the principles of painting and embroidery.It developed the most during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and has a high artistic appreciation.As the first surviving embroidery monograph in China,"Embroidery Book" was written in the first year of Daoguang(1821).It is a theoretical integration of Ming and Qing Jiangnan painting and embroidery by Ding Pei,who was born in Songjiang,Shanghai,based on her own practical experience and artistic aesthetics."Embroidery" and the Jiangnan painting embroidery of Ming and Qing Dynasties,respectively,are very representative texts and embroidery types in the traditional Chinese embroidery art,and they are closely related.The unique artistic and historical value of embroidery is worthy of our in-depth discussion.This thesis starts with the text of "Xiu Pu",and analyzes the physical objects of Jiangnan painting and embroidery in Ming and Qing Dynasties by combining theory with practice.The main research content is as follows: Part one is drawn by combing the relationship between "Xiu Pu" and Jiangnan painting and embroidery in Ming and Qing Dynasties.The research topic,combined with the relationship between the two germination environments and the value investigation,demonstrates the significance of the works for embroidery from practice to theory,from painting to text.In the second part,according to the direct degree of the influence of various social factors,starting from the four aspects of education,industry,culture,and economy,it analyzes the background and origin of "Embroidery" and the Jiangnan painting and embroidery in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and explores the environment's influence on the rise of boudoir art.influences.In the third part,through the theoretical analysis of "Xiupu" and the physical exploration of Jiangnan painting and embroidery in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,it refines the aesthetic characteristics of the two,and understands its unique charm from the two aspects of "technique" and "art".The fourth part analyzes the artistic value and historical value of Jiangnan painting and embroidery in the Ming and Qing Dynasties from the horizontal and vertical latitudes,and discusses its position and influence.Embroidery,as a symbol of traditional Chinese women with both ability and political integrity,changed in function and connotation in Jiangnan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,gradually deviating from the practical level and tending to be artistic.Through the analysis and combing of the text of "Xiupu" and the actual paintings and embroidery,this thesis explores the surface aesthetic characteristics of Jiangnan painting and embroidery in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and its inherent artistic value;integrating aesthetics and cultural perspectives,to realize the unique charm of Jiangnan boudoir art in the Ming and Qing Dynasties Provide more reference materials for future research on traditional crafts.
