With the advancement of society,people's aesthetic levels have improved,and so the traditional custom cheongsam can no longer adequately meet the desire of modern young people for diversified personlization.In order to comply with the development of the times,more and more designers have begun to carry out multi-dimensional innovation and improvement of cheongsams.This article is based on the background of this clothing industry.The three-dimensional shape of flowers represents the majority of decorative techniques used of custom cheongsams are embroidery,printing,etc.These decorative techniques have been used for many years,being utilized throughout traditional to modern day printing and embroidery.There has been a certain degree of study,change and improvement related to two-dimensional surface patterns.However,there are few studies on the application of three-dimensional flower shapes on custom cheongsams.This thesis focuses on the application of the three-dimensional flower shape on custom cheongsams.This paper will study the subject through literature,field research and practice.It will attempt to understand the current situation of the application of three-dimensional flower shape,summarize the materials and techniques used,and propose a customization to the three-dimensional shape of flowers through fabric re-engineering,process innovation and structural reorganization.The methods used in applying three dimensional shapes to cheongsams are practiced and innovated.The research content of this paper is divided into six chapters and described step by step.The first chapter explains the source,research background and significance of the topic.In the second chapter,through the analysis of the definition,origin,development,craft materials and structural performance of the three-dimensional flower,the process combination of the three-dimensional modeling of common flowers under modern new materials is expounded.The third chapter briefly describes the origin and current status of the custom cheongsam.It categorizes and summarizes the definition and historicaldevelopment of the custom cheongsam,analyzes the current situation of the application of custom cheongsam surface decoration techniques,and highlights the lack of three-dimensional decorative techniques.Furthermore,it explores the design principles and design forms of the three-dimensional modeling of flowers in the use of custom cheongsams.The fourth chapter focuses on the combination of the three-dimensional modeling of flowers and the custom cheongsam.Through the diversified splitting and combination,it proposes an innovative application theory of the structure,fabric,craft,color and pattern of the custom cheongsam.In this way,we can explore the unique charm of the custom-made cheongsam in the three-dimensional shape of the flower,and provide ideas and methods for the expansion of the custom cheongsam decoration technique.The fifth chapter,combined with the practice of six finished sets of custom cheongsams product design.The sixth chapter summarizes the applied theories and make a contribution to the field of custom chengsam.
