The Research And Application Of Laddering And Ravelling Of Shaped Weft-knitted Garments

Knitted garments account for a large proportion in total garment production and run through all dimensions of people's lives.Knitted garments are one of the important categories of knitted garments.Considering from the practical level,research on the characteristics of knitted garments will be beneficial to improving the quality and sales of knitted garments.Laddering and raveling is the most destructive of all the characteristics of weft knitted clothing,which may affect the flatness and durability of the clothing,or even cause the complete clothing to "fall apart" and greatly affecting people's wearability,is a huge stumbling block on the road of weaving knitted garments,so research on laddering and raveling of weft knitted garments are of great value and significance.There are different opinions on the causes of weft knitted garments' laddering and raveling.Different forms of dispersal determine different causes,and the different forming methods of knitted garments also have an effect on the laddering and raveling.Among all the researchers,there are many researches on the laddering and raveling of cut weft-knitted knitted garments,and less research on the laddering and raveling of shaped weft-knitted knitted garments,which is why this article studies the weaving of shaped knitted fabrics.In the second chapter of this paper,from the order of weft knitting organization to the weaving process of knitting fabrics,and then to the wearing process of shaped weft knitting knitted garments,through practice,survey questionnaires,collection of data and other methods to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the causes of dissociation.The third chapter,as a side supplement to the second chapter,explores the relationship between the weaving knitting's laddering and raveling or other characteristics,and then draws other conditions that affect the cause of the laddering and raveling.The second half of this article will "apply" research on the laddering and raveling of shaped weft knitted garments.Laddering and raveling is a double-edged sword,which has disadvantages and benefits,depending on the user's purpose.In practical applications of this feature,clothing designers can choose them based on the TPO and 5 "W" design principles."Go" or "Stay".In the fourth and fifth chapters of this article,we discuss the prevention and application of laddering and raveling respectively,and strive to "apply" research on the laddering and raveling of shaped weft-knitted knitting from multiple angles,and finally the research results apply to actual shaped weft-knitted garments.
