Yuan Hongdao's Shang Zheng was written in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. At this time, the political situation of late Ming Dynasty was getting worse and worse.Wang Yangming's theory and Buddhism were prevailing.Scholars advocated temperament, faced up to material desires, advocated luxury, and liked leisure and elegance. All these characteristics can be reflected in the banquet activities of scholars. As a representative work of Jiuling literature in the late Ming Dynasty,Shang Zheng provides rich materials for the restoration of the real appearance of scholars' banquet activities in the late Ming Dynasty. The introduction part of this paper mainly introduces the banquet culture, classifies and combs the current research situation in the academic circle, and analyzes the value and significance of the banquet fashion of the scholars in the late Ming Dynasty based on the study of Shang Zheng. On this basis,it is divided into three parts for specific research:The first part is an introduction to the writing and circulation of Yuan Hongdao's Shang Zheng. It was written around 1605 by Yuan Hongdao in order to set up the "Laws of drunkenness".The style of the book was mainly influenced by two books,"ZUIXIANGRIYUE" and "ZUIXIANGLVLING".The source of the edition is relatively simple. It was first engraved in Wanli years, and then recorded in Yuan Hongdao's anthology. It was recorded in the official and private bibliographies of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The second part is about the behavior of people and the law of it.As a kind of special activity integrating making friends, banqueting and eating, the etiquette, scale, standard, punishment and game in banqueting are the concentrated embodiment of the code of conduct and moral standard of scholars in the late Ming Dynasty.Shang Zheng proposes that the drinkers should abide by certain norms and behave in a proper way while relaxing spirit. The law of behavior in banquets not only has practical significance, but also contains certain cultural significance, that is the philosophy of "adapting to the world" of scholars in the late Ming society. The third part is the analysis of the meaning of the object and its appreciation. To a large extent, the creation of the Shang Zheng was influenced by the prevailing atmosphere of thelate Ming Dynasty, such as the cultivation of garden, playing with utensils, and health preservation. The objective existence of environment, opportunity, utensils, supporting food and utensils in the banquet activities gave birth to the appreciation activities of scholars. They gained the "leisure and elegant" life interest and spiritual enjoyment through the appreciation of all things in the banquet activities. To sum up,this paper takes the Shang Zheng as the main research object, combined with the development of Jiuling literature and Yuan Hongdao's poetry creation,to interpret the life attitude and aesthetic pursuit of scholars in the banquet activities in the late Ming Dynasty,to show the unique banquet culture and the relationship between banquet and literary creation.
