With the rapid development of economy in China,people's living standard and quality are constantly improving.People pay more attention to their health and there are more and more people participating in outdoor activities,which has made a rapid increase in outdoor supplies market.Outdoor hiking is a branch of outdoor sports which has developed rapidly in recent years,and the demand for outdoor hiking clothing has increased significantly.Along with the increasing expansion of the market for smart products,smart clothing,which combines textile and technology,has now become the hot spot in clothing industry.There are promising market prospects for outdoor hiking smart clothing.Real-time sensing the temperature and humidity of the micro-environment of clothing,the ultraviolet rays of the outdoor environment and the athlete's heart rate can assist the athlete to make appropriate adjustments to the way he wears his clothes,the protective measures he takes,and the way he exercises,so as to improve the quality of exercise.After analyzing sports characteristics and environmental requirements for outdoor hiking activity,and the results of questionnaire survey from hiking athletes,as well as combining people's aesthetic and practical needs for clothing,gadgets like temperature and humidity sensors,ultraviolet sensors,heart rate sensors,flexible solar panels were implanted into clothing.Innovative designs were also made in placement of electronic components,clothing styles and clothing structure.The monitoring module of the prototype system in this research can monitor the temperature and humidity of the micro-environment of the clothing of the hiker,the ultraviolet light in the outdoor environment,and the heart rate of the athlete in real time.An alarm will be given once the number exceeds the set range for the athlete,so that the athlete can well understand his real-time situation.The solar charging module uses flexible solar panels togenerate electricity and store it in the portable power,making it possible to provide power for electronic products outdoors.The usability of the functional modules of the prototype system was tested and the feasibility and practicality of the combination of textiles and smart components were discussed according to the experimental testing of the 8 subjects wearing the design products of this study.The innovative designs of outdoor hiking smart clothing in this study basically meets the needs of hiking athletes for smart clothing,and has broad application prospects and significant meaning.
