Research On Development Strategies Of The Transportation Of Liquefied Natural Gas Of A Company

In recent years,the consensus of natural gas as a green clean energy has gradually gathered,the global LNG industry and marine transportation industry continue to develop,more and more countries began to pay attention to the import of liquefied natural gas,these favorable conditions have laid a solid foundation for the arrival of the golden period of global LNG trade and transportation.China’s natural gas consumption has shown a steady growth situation and its future prospects for development have been affected by multiple factors such as environmental protection policy,coal-to-gas project in urban gas and industrial sectors,rising prices of alternative energy sources and new gas power plant.After the joint venture,Company A has changed from a planned mode of operation to a market-oriented mode of operation,and it is urgent to develop new business in new areas to expand the scale of the company’s business.The transportation of LNG is one of the best options.This thesis analyzes the external macro environment of Company A,the analysis of the natural gas industry,and the evaluation and analysis of Company A’s internal resources to formulate the optimal development strategy for Company A’s LNG business.This thesis first elaborates the historical background of Company A and the research significance of this topic,and summarizes the environment in which LNG business is carried out.Second,it analyzes the external environment of Company A’s LNG business,and uses the PEST analysis method to analyze the macro environment,using Porter’s five-force analysis method to analyze the LNG industry;once again to conduct internal analysis of Company A’s LNG business to assess corporate resources and capabilities,then to make strategic choices and use SWOT analysis methods to determine strategic choices.Finally,the strategy implementation and safeguard measures are elaborated,and they are explained and guaranteed in more details from three aspects: stage goals,sub-business development planning and safeguard measures.This thesis provides a suggested development strategy for Company A’s LNG business,and it is of great significance to the actual needs of Company A’s business upgrade and transformation.
