The mass fraction of V2O5 is 1.5%~2.0%and TiO2 is 16%~20%for vanadium titanium magnetite concentrate in western Liaoning province.The grade of vanadium titanium magnetite concentrate is much higher than that of Panzhihua and Chengde in China,which is equal with South Africa.the reserves account for about 8%of the domestic total reserves.The traditional process of blast furnace iron-making and steel-making-vanadium slag extraction can not be used in this kind of vanadium titanium magnetite because of its high vanadium、titanium and low iron concentrate.Therefore,our team put forward the technological process for the comprehensive utilization of titanium and iron after the direct extraction of vanadium with domestic enterprise.The former jinzhou ferroalloy plant and the Finnish company have stopped production after trying direct vanadium extraction process in the 1970s,and have not seen relevant report.Vanadium extraction for vanadium titanium magnetite concentrate is a kind of enrichment process,grain of vanadium titanium magnetite is larger than that of vanadium slag,the typical process parameters must be different from vanadium slag.In this paper,the V-Ti magnetite is from Chaoyang Hongye mining industry.Based on the previous research and system experiments,furnace oxidation roasting process parameters are optimized.The technological parameters of leaching,enrichment and precipitation are investigated to realize near zero emissions of waste water.The main research content and innovations are as follow.Based on Mineral analysis,thermodynamics and principle analysis of vanadium titanium magnetite,the roasting and leaching of single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment are carried out,the roasting and leaching of appropriate process parameters are conformed.1)roasting:oxidizing atmosphere(oxygen concentration>6%),roasting temperature was 900℃,roasting time was 4.5h,additive ratio 8.2%.2)first flooding:leaching temperature was 70℃,extraction time 8h,ratio of solid to liquid was 1:2.after acid leaching,leaching time was 5h,the acidity was 7%,solid-liquid ratio was 1:2.leaching rate was 81.7%.In this paper,an ion exchange method was used to purify the enrichment experiment and the optimum parameters were obtained.D201 type adsorption resin as adsorption resin,pH value was 2,leaching velocity was 2BV/h,water extract vanadium ion exchange capacit was 310mg/g(wet resin),the acid solution vanadium ion exchange capacity was 120mg/g(wet resin),the adsorption rate was 100%,in the resin temperature range of high temperature was beneficial to adsorption resin for vanadium ion,pH value of the most obvious influence on resin adsorption efficiency.2)desorption:10%NaCl+4%NaOH as desorption agent,desorption agent and resin volume ratio was 3.5~4,desorption velocity range from 0.014 to 0.016mL/(mL·min)desorption time was 4.4h.The desorption rate of 99.92%.In view of the vanadium solution purification after enrichment,the vanadium iron sink experiment carried out and the appropriate process parameters were obtained:precipitating is agent ferric sulfate,pH value was 3.0,reaction temperature was 60℃,reaction time was 2 h,the ratio of n(V)/n(Fe)was 1:1,precipitation rate was 95.3%,the product was vanadate iron;the total recovery rate of vanadium was 77.8%.
