By using the finite element software,simulate the whole process of pass design,pass positioning,guide design,provide the parameters of off-line simulation rolling and rolling process,analyse the the defects appeared during the rolling process,the cost of the test rolling of the special-shaped steel products is reduced,and the success rate of the first rolling of the special-shaped steel products is improved.The main research work and results are as follows:(1)By using the finite element software,provide the design of pass design,pass positioning,guide design for four special shaped steel(400MPa grade J type frame channel steel,29#U steel,18&25 frame channel steel).(2)Analyse the defect of collapse,bending,torsional,warping head during the design process,provide the improvement measures to eliminate the defects and the effective improvement and optimization are obtained.(3)The model of three stand continuous rolling of special-shaped steel and guide rolling of special type steel strip have been established.(4)The calculation results of the new model pass test and the model formula data show that the pass size obtained by the simulation calculation is highly consistent with the actual rolling result.Compared with the size of the actual rolling process,the size error is less than 7%.
