Nomex honeycomb composite material with high rigidity,high strength,high fatigue,light weight,insulation,pressure,many of the characteristics of good stability,has been widely used in aerospace,train and other fields.But at the same time the honeycomb composite sandwich plate is a kind of typical hard material,ordinary cutting will appear honeycomb the core of the paper honeycomb core crack,burr,burr and skin skin and honeycomb core degumming phenomenon,affecting the quality of composite honeycomb sandwich plate structure,it is difficult to meet the actual needs.Ultrasonic cutting technology is a rising technology in recent 20 years,high-speed washing compared to the traditional machining method,the processing advantages of ultrasonic cutting technology is outstanding,has no burr,cutting force,high machining efficiency and tool wear small machining characteristics,so the ultrasonic cutting technology is widely used in cutting processing composite materials needed in aerospace and other fields.It is very necessary to improve machining quality of composite foundation structure,reduce processing costs and improve processing quality.In this paper,the straight knife ultrasonic cutting processing NOMEX composite honeycomb sandwich panel as the research object,and the cutting mechanism in ultrasonic test The main research contents are as follows:(1)The motion characteristics of straight blade ultrasonic cutting process is analyzed,based on the motion characteristics analysis of straight knife and the intermittent contact conditions.(2)The ultrasonic cutting Nomex honeycomb sandwich plate for cutting simulation using HyperMesh and Abaqus finite element analysis software,two simulation,respectively to meet the intermittent contact conditions and does not meet the intermittent contact conditions compared to the size of ultrasonic cutting force and average cutting force.(3)The Nomex honeycomb sandwich plate straight knife cutting machining for example,stress analysis of materials and fracture mechanical model is developed and analyzed the micro fracture mechanism is established.The ultrasonic cutting force model,and simulated with Matlab software and the influence of various parameters and tool parameters of ultrasonic cutting process of cutting force the size of the.(4)Build the test platform and experiment design,experiment of ultrasonic cutting machining of honeycomb composite sandwich plate,and the influence rules of different processing parameters on the cutting force are analyzed,at the same time the quality of cutting surface were observed.The experimental results agree with the theoretical analysis,the use of reasonable processing parameters can effectively reduce the cutting force,improve the processing quality.
