Australian tea tree,also known as interleaf white thousand layers,has a very high economic value.The essential oil extracted from its branches and leaves,"tea tree oil",is not a lot of natural health care medicine materials.At present,the development and utilization of tea tree in Australia is mainly based on its essential oil,and the research,development and utilization of chemical components other than essential oil are less.In this study,the extraction process of crude polysaccharide and crude flavonoids,the component analysis of water extract and alcohol extract,antioxidant capacity and safety of crude polysaccharide and crude flavonoids were preliminarily studied and evaluated with Australian tea tree cake meal as the raw material.The main results were as follows:The crude polysaccharides from Australian tea tree cake meal were extracted by water extraction method.Single factor experiments were conducted on extraction temperature,extraction time,ratio of material to liquid,extraction times and other factors.On the basis of single factor experiments,orthogonal experiments were used to optimize the optimal extraction conditions of crude polysaccharides from Australian tea tree cake meal.On this basis after degreasing,ultrasonic auxiliary,such as process optimization,optimum parameters of extraction of crude polysaccharide as:temperature 95?,and solid-liquid ratio 1:15 boiled extraction 2.5 h,30 min,60?,power 450 w ultrasonic extraction,extraction twice,freeze-dried,polysaccharide extraction yield could reach 1.65%(g/100 g tea cake),at a rate of 4.53%.The extraction conditions of flavonoids from Australian tea tree cake meal by conventional reflux extraction were as follows:75%ethanol concentration,1:30 solid-liquid ratio,1.5 hours reflux for 2 times,the extraction rate of flavonoids was 0.11%,and the extraction rate of alcohol extract was 6.3%.The main components of Australian tea tree cake powder obtained from the preliminary study were polysaccharide:1.65%;Flavonoids:0.11%;Protein:2.17%;Moisture content:7.19%;Ash content:5.31%;Crude fat:4.2%;Crude fiber:53.8%;Polyphenols:1.59%;Carbohydrates:26.79%.The determination results of components in water extract were as follows:polysaccharide:66%;Protein:13.54%;Moisture:4.64%;The determination results of the components of alcohol extracts were as follows:flavonoids:2.05%;Protein:25.13%;Sterol:10.15%;Moisture:3.80%;Ash score:3.64%.VC was used to determine the scavenging capacity of hydroxyl radical(·OH),superoxide anion(·O2-)and DPPH·respectively.DPPH·scavenging power increases with concentration to over 70%at 500g/mL.The water extract and alcohol extract have the scavenging ability to remove superoxide anion radical,the concentration of water extract reaches 40%at 3000 microns/mL.The scavenging capacity of superoxide anion radical reaches 60%at 3000 microns/mL concentration.The safety evaluation experiment showed that the water extract and alcohol extract of Australian tea tree cake meal had no acute or subacute lethal toxicity,and were actually non-toxic.
