Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays,with the improvement of people’s living level,the demand for textiles has changed a lot besides the traditional requirements of wearing comfortable and beautiful.People like more special functions of textiles,such as aromatic textiles,sunscreen textiles,mosquito repellent textiles,temperature-regulating textiles.The requirements make textiles the new model of the traditional development and move into the field of smart textiles.In this paper,the two methods of coating and dipping-rolling were used to explore the applications of fragrant and anti-ultraviolet microcapsules on the pure cotton and polyester fabrics.Through screening and comparing with the processes of formulation,parameters and methods,the best can be obtained.It can provide reference for the factory to do a great job and ideas for the follow-up study of microencapsulation on fabric finishing.The article is divided into two parts.The first is to explore the fragrance finishing process of pure cotton fabrics by using fragrance microcapsules.On the beginning,the thermal properties and sustained-release properties of six kinds of fragrance microcapsules were analyzed.Fresh marine fragrance microcapsules with good thermal properties and sustained-release properties were selected as fragrance finishing microcapsules.Then in the laboratory,the dosage of fragrant microcapsules and adhesives,the thickness of coating and the baking process were screened.Subsequently,the dip-rolling process was used to compare.Preliminary determination of cotton fabrics fragrance microcapsule is coating finishing process.Under this process,the aroma grade of cotton fragrant fabrics is grade 3,and the soap-resistant time is more than 15 times.The fragrance retention time can be half a year.Compared with the original fabric,its softness is 85.23,which is only 1.8%lower than the 86.80 of original fabric,and its air permeability is 15.725(L/m~2·s),which is 80%lower than the 121.42(L/m~2·s)of original fabric.Therefore,the cotton fabrics treated by this process have good fragrance retention,washability and hand feel,and poor air permeability.Next,the cotton fabrics were perfumed by dipping and rolling with the coating process as a reference.For the fragrant cotton fabrics treated by coating method,the handle and air permeability of the fabrics are not very good,we hope to improve the handle and air permeability of the fabrics by dipping-rolling method.After finishing,the handle and air permeability of the fabrics were obviously improved.Compared with the original fabrics,the softness and air permeability were reduced by 0.9%and 56%respectively.The fragrance retention of the fabrics was durable,but the washing resistance of the fabrics was poor compared with that of the coated fabrics,only about 8 times.In the second part,we use anti-ultraviolet microcapsules to finish the sunscreen function of light polyester fabrics specially used for making sunscreen clothes.First of all,we adopt the method of two dips and two rollings.When the dosage of anti-ultraviolet microcapsules is 20 wt%of the total amount of finishing solution,the ultraviolet protection factor(UPF)of the finished sunscreen fabric is 27,which does not meet the standard of sunscreen.Therefore,we use the coating method.When the dosage of microcapsules is 16 wt%,its UPF value is nearly 200.After15 soaps in the laboratory,its UPF value is up to 200.The value is about 90,which is much higher than the 40+stipulated in the national standard.Therefore,we can draw a conclusion that the effect of dipping-rolling method in finishing light and thin polyester fabrics is much lower than that of coating method.Because of the fabric is hydrophobic,light and thin,the dipping-rolling solution is difficult to adsorb on the fabric.Therefore,the article gives no description about the soaking and rolling method of sunscreen finishing in detail.
