The Analysis On How Sharing Model To Improve The Operation Efficiency In Smes

One report from APEC(the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization)indicates that,a large number of SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises)are facing many difficulties and challenges in operations,which relate to market barriers,capital,human resource,technology and other aspects.In the fierce competition and rapidly changing market environment,it is obviously impossible for SMEs to deal with these difficulties and challenges mentioned above solely by themselves.How to help SMEs to overcome those difficulties has become a very important and global issue.In fact,for SMEs,the most direct and urgent pressure is from the Capital.This pressure is not only reflected in the financing of Capital,but also reflected in the use of Capital.This paper will put the focus on the use of Capital.From this point of view,it is easy to know,the raw material procurement is always occupy the larger proportion of Capital.In practice,we found that there are two major problems for SMEs in Raw Materials(ex.steel)procurement and usage.One problem is the small procurement scale.Limited by the small production scale,the raw material procurement order issued by SMEs is always so small to obtain the bulk purchase discount price.This also makes the SMEs in a relatively weak position.The other one is the Excess purchasing and inventory of raw materials.In most cases,the actual raw material demand from the SMEs can not meet the MOQ(Minimum Order Quantity).As a result,the SMEs have to buy in some excess raw material,which will certainly be the excess inventory for a rather long time.This paper try to explore a kind of innovation operation mode(enterprise network resources sharing platform)from the perspective of the cluster,platform and sharing economy,in order to optimize raw materials purchasing process,reduce the inventory of raw materials,and then to improve the operation efficiency in SMEs.The model will help the SMEs alleviate the pressure of working capital,in response to financing difficulties which most of SMEs face.
