Abstract/Summary:
With the development of the global industry, environmental pollution problems have become increasingly prominent.Characteristics of heavy metal ions are toxic, easily dissolved in water and soil.Prolonged contact heavy metal ions, such as Cr(Ⅵ),Cu(II),Pb(II)and so on,could cause a series of diseases. Therefore, removal of heavy metals from water is a hot-spot in environmental remediation. In this paper,TPEE@Mg(OH)2,amino-modified PAN(AOPAN),AOPAN@Mg(OH)2,nanofibrous membranes were fabricated by electrospinning technique combined with inorganic nanoparticle and surface modification to remove heavy metals.SEM,EDS,FTIR,XRD,ICP proved the following conclusions.First, the crystal of Mg(OH)2 successfully attached to the surface of TPEE nanofibrous membranes, adsorption capacity can be achieved to the maximum22.4 mg/g,and satisfies the second-order equation.Second,The electrospun polyacrylonitrile(PAN)nanofibers were chemically modified with amidoxime groups by reacting with hydroxylamine hydrochloride into amidoxime–modified PAN(AOPAN).The Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption test shows that the adsorption capacity of AOPAN nanofibers is as high as 102.5 mg/g at p H=2and the adsorption equilibrium can be quickly reached within 5 h.Finally, successfully prepared AOPAN@Mg(OH)2 composite nanofibrous membranes, which have a petaloid structure in the surface, and maximum adsorption capacity of these could be attend 123.5 mg/g,the process of adsorption satisfied the second-order equation. That three nanofibrous membrane showed a high and fast efficiency, easily separated from liquid solutions and excellent cyclic utilization performance. Therefore, such a novel nanofibrous membrane can be potentially widely used in heavy metals.
