The Application Of Thermochromic Materials On Sportswear Fabric

With the development of science and technology,the requirement of sportswear fabrics is higher and higher.Traditional fabrics with certain color are not enough,so thermochromic fabrics which can change color are more and more popular.The searching result shows the color is a little simple because most the color just from color A to colorless or light color,and the application is not always reasonable.The fabric evaluation result shows coating the thermochromic materials on fabric is not very comfortable,so printing method is adopted.In this paper three different adhesive were used.And after printing,the fabrics which are got through the orthogonal experiment were evaluated.The evaluation result shows the modified polyacrylate binder Noven is better,and its best printing process is 25% binder,crosslinking agent 1.5%,150 ℃,3 min.Then the paper did preliminary study on matching color,which were use thermochromic materials and paints.The result shows series colors which can change color from A to B,all of that improve the situation that the color can only change from A to colorless or light color,make the color more wonderful.After analysis the L,a,b in each fabric,a relationship is discovered: the L,a,b before color change and after color change are linear regression which may be the foundation of industrialization.In order to make thermochromic materials apply better,some tests about how the skin temperature changes during running exercise were made.After the tests and analysis,the suitable temperature was found when use thermochromic materials in the sportswear fabric,the changing color can be 31-35℃,concretely speaking,chest 33-34℃,shoulder 32-35 ℃,abdomen31-33.5℃,the upper arm 33-34℃,head 32-35℃,scapula34-35℃.
