Chaos synchronization has attracted much attention because of its wide application prospect in various scientific fields.The synchronization of nonautonomous chaotic systems based on discontinuous control method and its application in image secure communication are studied,from the aspects of discontinuous control methods of chaos synchronization,the factors affecting the synchronization performance and the application of chaos synchronization.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,based on linear matrix inequality theory and Lyapunov stability analysis,event-triggered control is used to synchronize nonautonomous chaotic systems with parameter mismatch.The controller and the event-triggered condition are obtained by means of co-design.The synchronization criterion is derived and the expression of the estimated synchronization error bound is given.In addition,it is proved that there is a positive lower bound for the inter-event times between two adjacent events,which shows that there is no Zeno behavior in the control process.The feasibility of the scheme is verified by numerical simulation,and the relationship between synchronization error and various parameters is analyzed.Secondly,by combining event-triggered control with periodically intermittent control,a discontinuous intermittent event-triggered control method is proposed and used to realize the synchronization of two nonautonomous chaotic systems.The sufficient conditions for the synchronization of systems are given and the Zeno behavior is excluded.In addition,the conditions of event-triggered control and periodically intermittent control as special cases of intermittent event-triggered control are discussed respectively.The simulation results of two examples show that the control method is feasible and has the advantage of resource saving.Finally,the synchronization of hyperchaotic systems is realized by intermittent control,and the synchronization scheme is applied to image secure communication.The sufficient conditions for the synchronization of hyperchaotic systems are given.Based on the synchronization scheme,the image is encrypted by using the characteristics of hyperchaos and the discontinuous loading of signal under intermittent control.Simulation and security analysis show that the scheme has feasibility and high security.
