With the rapid improvement of the level of social informatization and the rapid development of electromagnetic pulse weapons,the demand for electromagnetic pulse protection for both civilian and military electronic equipment is increasing rapidly.EMP protection is extremely important and meaningful.Under the background of the environment of the times,thesis studies the relevant knowledge of electromagnetic protection,designs two protection components working in different frequency bands,and tests and verifies them.The thesis first describes the development trend of EMP weapons in detail,and then expounds the research status of EMP protection technology at home and abroad from the historical development of EMP weapons.After understanding electromagnetic pulse weapons and the significance of studying electromagnetic pulse protection technology,this article briefly explains the common types of electromagnetic pulses,and makes a brief introduction to electromagnetic pulses,so that readers can have a further understanding of electromagnetic pulses.The first protection component designed in this article is for devices that use VGA interface to transmit data.The highlight of this protection component is its versatility and the fusion design method the thesis used in this article.In the design process,the thesis start with the key filter circuit of the component,and then use the integrated design method to design the overall protection component circuit,and do simulation verification in the ADS software,and finally pass the RS105 method and the injection method test.The test results not only verify the design idea of the thesis,but also fully meet the design requirements.The second protection component designed in thesis is an RF protection component based on the SIW structure,which is designed for equipment operating in the C-band.The design idea of this component is novel.The novelty is that the mature SIW structure and electromagnetic protection are combined together,and the model of the protection component is designed by the design method of fusion design,and the preliminary verification is carried out by modeling and simulation in CST.The results of the simulation optimization were processed,and the S-parameters of the component and the ability to protect against electromagnetic pulses were tested and verified.The test results were in line with expectations and all met the design requirements.
