With the proposal of Earned Duration Management(EDM)using only time dimension in2014,the management method is more accurate.The research on project prediction and project control using Earned Value Management(EVM),Earned Schedule Management(ESM)and EDM has attracted extensive attention of practitioners and scholars.This paper mainly studies the CUSUM control chart of engineering project performance by using the performance indicators of EVM and EDM:Khamooshi pointed out in his articles in 2014 and 2016 that the performance indicators of engineering management methods are dynamic during the whole project cycle,and may be improved due to the improvement of productivity in the later stage of the project.The prediction of the project only relying on traditional management methods is often not comprehensive.Therefore,EVM is combined with mature exponential smoothing technology,For the data of 32 simulation projects,the actual simulation and the prediction of the final cost of the project are carried out.The results show that the proposed method is effective for the final cost estimation and process monitoring of the project.Then,in order to monitor the small shift of performance indicators,Adaptive CUSUM(ACUSUM)univariate control chart and multivariate CUSUM(MCUSUM)control chart are selected respectively which combined with EDM and EVM to establish statistics to monitor the duration and cost of the project,and the simulation data are used to define the control limit.Combined with the actual simulation engineering,the simulation research shows that one-dimensional ACUSUM control chart is sensitive to project delay and cost overrun,and can well detect the mean shift of performance indicators.However,MCUSUM control chart can use one control chart to monitor the changes of the two dimensions of the project.In the implementation process of the monitoring project,it can simplify the monitoring system,reduce the error alarm rate,and play an important role in improving the work efficiency of the project.
