Research On Eco-economic Efficiency And Convergence Measure Of Various Regions In Shandong Province

With the smooth implementation of my country's reform and opening-up policy,my country's economic development has gradually shifted from the high-speed growth stage in the past to the high-quality development stage.As a major economic province in my country,Shandong Province should continue its glory in the stage of high-quality development.However,in the new stage of development,Shandong Province is also facing many development problems.It needs to improve the efficiency of economic development.By changing the mode of economic development,improve the quality of economic development,and solve problems such as low efficiency,waste of resources,and environmental pollution.In order to better improve economic efficiency and protect the ecological environment,governments at all levels are required to combine high-quality economic development with sustainable resource investment and ecological environmental protection,improve resource utilization efficiency,and maximize each resource and environmental investment.Converted into economic output,saving resources and protecting the environment will be implemented.This paper firstly summarizes the definition of the connotation of eco-economic efficiency by previous scholars through the research of relevant literature,and makes the definition of the connotation of eco-economic efficiency in this paper;and studies the theoretical principle and model method of the data envelopment analysis method,and focuses on the introduction the model method used in this paper.Then,this paper selects the input-output indicators required to measure the ecological and economic efficiency,establishes an evaluation index system with economy,environment and resources as the main indicators,and applies the super-efficiency SBM model and GML model to Shandong Province and 16 provinces in 2007-2017.The ecological and economic efficiency of prefectures and cities is analyzed statically and dynamically.Finally,the ideas and methods of the convergence hypothesis in the neoclassical economic growth theory are applied to the analysis of the differences in ecological and economic efficiency,and an empirical study is carried out on the convergence of the development differences of ecological and economic efficiency in Shandong Province.Through the above research content,this paper draws the following conclusions:This paper believes that ecological economic efficiency is an evaluation method used to measure the economic output efficiency of a region based on social resources and environmental input over a period of time.Regarding the measurement and analysis of the ecological and economic efficiency of various cities in Shandong Province,through empirical research,the results show that there are significant differences in the ecological and economic efficiency of various cities in Shandong Province.Economic efficiency,Weifang,Linyi,Dezhou,Tai'an and other cities with relatively large pollution emissions and average economic performance have relatively low ecological and economic efficiency;The ecological and economic efficiency of cities in Jiaodong region shows a trend of accelerating improvement,while the cities in central Shandong,southern Shandong and northern Shandong all have the problem of slowing down the growth rate of ecological and economic efficiency.Regarding the research on the convergence of ecological and economic efficiency in various cities in Shandong Province,this paper finds that there is a ? convergence trend in the development of ecological economic efficiency in various cities in Jiaodong during the study period,but there is no ?convergence trend in the development of ecological and economic efficiency between cities in Shandong Province and other regions.This means that the difference in eco-economic efficiency between cities in the Jiaodong region decreases over time,which is not the case for cities in other regions.In the study of the absolute ?-convergence trend and conditional ?-convergence trend of eco-economic efficiency in various regions of Shandong Province,it is found that there is an absolute ?-convergence trend in the development of eco-economic efficiency in the four regions of Shandong,which indicates that the ecological and economic efficiency of backward cities in these four regions is Economic efficiency develops faster than advanced cities.Under the influence of control variables,the regional and urban eco-economic efficiency development in Shandong Province,central Shandong and southern Shandong has a trend of conditional ?convergence,which means that under the influence of control conditions,the development of eco-economic efficiency in backward areas has a higher speed.
