Nowadays, the problem of cadmium exposure in the environment is getting more and more serious. It not only causes direct pollution to our environment, but also endangers human health, especially it is harmful to the nervous system. This article mainly studied the protective effect of Tripterygium wilfordii on the neurotoxicity induced by Cd2+and the adsorption of Cd2+by yeast cells. In the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases,Tripterygium wilfordii reflects its unique advantages. In this work,we study the effects of Tripterygium wilfordii on HMC3 cell viability, membrane integrity,TNF-? and IL-10.The effect of celastrol on the release of NO and MDA and the PI3K-AKT pathway were tested in HMC3 cells induced by Cd2+.The results showed that triptolide inhibited the release of TNF-? and IL-10 in HMC3 cells. And celastrol can inhibit Cd2+induced HMC3 cells to produce more NO and MDA,and inhibit Cd2+induced apoptosis by affecting the PI3K-AKT pathway.Biosorption is considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly and effective ways to adsorb heavy metal ions.In this work, yeast cells were encapsulated by graphene oxide using the principle of layer-by-layer selfassembly theory(Y@GO).The growth characteristics of Y@GO and the ability of a single yeast cell to adsorb Cd2+ by single cellular ICP-MS have been studied. The results showed that the Y@GO can grow autonomously and co-adsorb Cd2+with graphene oxide. The adsorption capacity is twice the normal yeast adsorption capacity. Therefore,we provide an excellent way to adsorb Cd2+.In summary, the subject draws the following conclusions that tripterygium wilfordii effectively inhibits cadmium-induced neurotoxicity, and yeast cells and graphene oxide synergistically adsorb more cadmium ions. This has a certain reference effect on solving the environmental and human health hazards caused by metal cadmium.
